Mixed-use towers
in Blacktown CBD
Working with numerous consultants, led by architect Tony Owen Partners, Planning Ingenuity facilitated the planning process through to approval for mixed-use towers at both 16 & 28 Second Avenue, Blacktown. These towers, located in the Blacktown CBD, were designed to respond to revised height and FSR controls that aim to promote the role of Blacktown CBD as a regional centre. The two developments, in tower form to 20 storeys, were approved by the Western Sydney JRPP, supported submissions by Planning Ingenuity in relation to height and FSR variations. The external design of the proposal is contemporary, promoting both functional and attractive architecture that provides an appropriate scale at street level and an iconic tower form that is consistent with the desired future development in the Blacktown CBD.
