key to revitalisation strategy
On behalf of Wollongong Council, our firm undertook pre-DA and DA assessment of a development application by Valad for redevelopment of a former Council car park for a 16,000m2 retail centre with 650 car spaces within the heart of the Corrimal Village. In conjunction with GMU Design, we worked with the applicant and stakeholders to refine the design to integrate with the existing strip centre and to protect views to the Illawarra Escarpment. The approved development forms an integral part of the Corrimal Revitalisation Strategy and will stimulate activity within the centre.
