Reimagining Social Housing in NSW
Joining a team of development consultants, social planners and architects, Planning Ingenuity undertook a Development Feasibility project to consider options for redevelopment of a large 1960s public housing estate that has become dilapidated and a source of social problems. Our brief was to consider the objectives of the HNSW Portfolio Strategy, develop options for increasing the underlying value of the asset that also met sustainability, social and environmental criteria and formulate design options as well as ownership mix recommendations and disposal options.
