Sophie Perry

Director

Sophie has 18 years of local government experience in statutory and strategic planning having worked at Senior and Team Leader levels with urban and rural fringe councils.  Sophie has worked in planning consultancy for the last 8 years including management and Associate Director roles in large scale planning projects throughout NSW and the ACT.  She has specialist knowledge in environmental science, sustainability and social planning and has a broad range of experience in environmental research, demography, environmental impact assessment, master planning and growth strategies, LEP and DCP preparation, sustainability projects, multi-agency working groups, plans of management and community participation.

Sophie graduated with Honours from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Science (Geography and Biology Joint Major) and has a Graduate Certificate in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of New England and has a Certificate IV in Local Government Management.  Sophie has completed training courses in Smart Cities, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design, Biodiversity and the Law and Crown Reserves Management.
