Angelina Aversa-Morassut

Principal Planner

Angelina joined Planning Ingenuity in 2022 as a Principal Planner with 20 years of experience in statutory planning, project management and business improvement. Her current role is focused on the assessment of development applications for various urban and regional Councils, preparation of large and medium scale development applications and project management including the management of sub-consultants on behalf of clients.

Prior to joining the team, Angelina was a Project Manager for the Department of Planning and Environment’s Planning Proposal Reform Program and prior to that was a Project Manager in the Transformation and Change Directorate of Georges River Council. Angelina has an extensive local government experience in development assessment and working as an Executive Planner assessing large scale and complex development applications, appearing as expert witness in NSW Land and Environment Court Proceedings, and representing clients at local and regional planning panels.  Angelina is also passionate about process improvement,  change management and customer service and has worked on a diverse range of projects during her time in local and state government.  She has a very thorough and detailed approach to the preparation of assessment reports, compiling conditions of consent and many years of project management experience across a wide range of business areas within local government.

Angelina is a registered Member of the Planning Institute of Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Town Planning from UNSW and was awarded the University Medal
